Apart from acquiring education in her relevant field, a good nurse must also be sensitive, responsive to the sorrows of her patients, and able to control her emotions, under extreme stress and pressure, so that the patients may consider themselves secure. Without these qualities, any nurse cannot prove herself a good nurse. Till the near past, nursing was not considered a good and respectable profession, however, this trend is changing gradually, and it can be expected that nurses will get their deserving position in the society.
