Whether we look at lush green farms, or air-conditioned offices- we observe that everywhere women are playing a vital role in various activities. The founder of Pakistan- Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah has always advocated, that women should hold prominent positions in the society, and prove their excellence at work. Even in the Movement of Independence, women worked shoulder to shoulder with men, and now these women have become role models for all Pakistani females. Because of constructive activity shown on television, women stepped out of household issues, and now we can see them working, in almost every walk of life. These women not only fulfill their embedded roles in the capacity of a mother, sister, daughter or wife; but have also eminently become an integral part of the society, while striving for self-respect, economic stability, a bright future, and the development of the country. Nowadays, women are seen entering all diverse fields available, are acquiring education in all disciplines, and are proving themselves. Let it be business or public administration, mass communication or international relations, medicine or engineering, women are noticed working everywhere. Pakistan is that first Muslim country, which selected a women as its Prime Minister. Women have always shown that whether it is any field or capacity, they can play an equivalent role as compared to men, in the development of the country.

Un Conventional Career Option for Women

From modeling to flying aircrafts, discharging household responsibilities to running the administration of a country, women are observed in all areas. Till the near past, women had employment opportunities only in limited fields. However, with the passage of time, and changes occurring in circumstances, the behavior of the society has also changed. Now females not only enter conventional fields like medicine, banking or teaching, instead they have searched for some new avenues for themselves. Females are engaged in all procedures involved, from the selection of cloth to their sale. Let it be modeling or fashion designing, fashion photography or make up art, women are involved in every activity. They have occupied a prominent position in the society, due to their significant role in various areas, ranging from developing outlooks of buildings to interior decoration, from planning weddings to designing upcoming projects of corporations, from pilots to air hostess, from cricket to squash, from singing to acting, production to direction. Females add color to all diverse media including newspapers, magazines, television or radio. Thus, the role of females in the construction of a healthy and balanced society cannot be over emphasized in the current era.
