The K-8 Aeronautics Internet Textbook:
A self-paced Internet guide, this tutorial starts out by
assuming that you have never ventured into the web before
(first lesson: click on a box). Its pages are small and use
very basic English, so it is perfect for introducing the
internet to children anywhere from 7-9.
Web
Teacher: Web teacher is meant for the older
children (anywhere from 12-15). This site assumes you know the
basics of the Internet and teaches you the more technical
terms: what a TCP/IP Protocol is, for example. It is put
together quite well, and the information is presented in an
effective manner. Two thumbs up.
Rabbit Brush Tutorials:
Rabbit Brush is quite informative for first time Internet
users. Lessons included: how to attach a file on an e-mail,
saving text, what security on the internet is, and how ISPs
differ. The problems: its long articles may get boring, and it
is not very colorful.
Web monkey for Kids:
The perfect place to start teaching your children HTML. This
site has templates, ideas, projects, and even a place for the
parents or teachers to go and take a look. With its bright
colors and warm, fuzzy feeling, it is perfect for the little
ones!

Education World’s Cooking Site:
When your children get older and go off to college, they will
have to learn to cook for themselves. So why not start
teaching them now? Education World’s site is nice because it
has recipes for “fun food” like ants on a log (celery with
peanut butter and raisins), pancakes, and peanut butter
cookies.

A clean home yields a happy home and a happy home yields a
happy person. Many tend not to clean their houses because they
simply do not have enough time; but thanks to this site, one
can learn timesaving and efficient techniques to keep their
abode in tip-top shape.
School
High School Hub: A
site for the older children to go to, High School Hub not only
educates but entertains. It has links to great sites that can
help in every subject as well as mini-games you can play
(logic, German food, etc.) to pass the time.
Enchanted Mind: A site
which is trying to help people tap into their unused brain,
Enchanted Mind has anything from brain exercises to quantum
physics. Well-made, but I wouldn't recommend it for the
younger children, as they will probably not be able to fully
comprehend what is being said.
Fun Brain: Fun Brain
teaches children more along the mathematical lines, although
other sections are also taught. The site also has material for
the older children, for example, chemistry and physics help,
word challenges, and advanced math tutorials. With its bright
colors and simple lesson, it is guaranteed to help children of
all ages.

The Space Place: This
site is a child's introduction to space, and it does quite a
good job of teaching him. It uses projects and lessons to
explain galaxies, momentum, and other concepts at the same

especially good for four or five year olds.

Biology in Motion is a site that is designed to teach those

Shockwave are needed to run the lessons.
